§01 — The system

Built around how glass is actually quoted.

Generic invoice apps treat glass like a line item. Kanch treats it like a measurement — fractions and all — and runs the same chargeable, polish, and area math you've been doing on paper.

01.01

Inches & mixed fractions, natively.

A dedicated numeric keypad with a ½ key. Type 36, tap ½, pick the fraction — Kanch handles the conversion, area and totals without sending you to a calculator. Try it →

§03 — Cutting-plan drawings

Draw the cut. Send it with the bill.

The only glass invoicing tool with a real cutting-plan editor built in. Lay your pieces on an A4 sheet at true proportions, label every edge, and Kanch appends the drawing to the PI PDF as original pages — so the shop floor cuts exactly what the customer approved.

§04 — Inside the app

From first row to finished document.

Open a new PI, pick the customer, type a row — Kanch does the rest, live. The same invoice becomes a Proforma, a Delivery Challan, or a GST Tax Invoice: branded, banked and ready to send. Hover the stack to bring each one forward.

§07 — Questions

Things glass people ask us.

Can't find what you're looking for? Email kanch.help@gmail.com — we read every message.

Q.01Does Kanch handle mm and inches in the same invoice?+
Toggle units per invoice — chargeable rules, polish and rate calculations all follow the unit you're working in. Inches accept mixed fractions (e.g. 36 3/16); mm accepts decimals.
Q.02How do chargeable dimension rules work?+
Per glass type, define how the actual cut becomes the billed dimension: add a fixed value (e.g. +2″), round to a multiple of N, set a minimum, or combine them. Kanch applies the rule to every row and shows both actual and chargeable side by side.
Q.03Will my data sync across devices?+
Yes. One Kanch account works across desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. Invoices, customers, glass catalog and company details sync in real time, and pending edits flush on reconnect after a network drop.
Q.04Can I add my logo, GST and UPI details to PDFs?+
Your company profile holds your logo, address, GSTIN, bank details and UPI ID (with QR). Every PDF Kanch generates includes them, along with a calculations footer your customers can verify.
Q.05Is there a free trial?+
Open the web app and start invoicing — no card, no signup wall — for 7 days. The Company plan is ₹2,199/month after the trial ends.
Q.06Can I import my existing customers and glass rates?+
Paste from any spreadsheet. The 15-column grid accepts the same copy-paste shape as Excel and Google Sheets.
Q.07What is the cutting-plan drawing feature?+
A built-in editor that lays your invoice's glass pieces on an A4 sheet at true proportions — length-to-breadth locked so the cut never distorts. Label any edge in mixed-fraction inches or mm, annotate with pen, shapes and text across multiple pages, and Kanch appends the drawing to the PI PDF as original pages. The shop floor cuts exactly what the customer approved.
Q.08Is there a Windows desktop app?+
Yes — a native Windows app with the same grid, fractions and PDFs as the web. It installs in seconds, keeps working when the shop Wi-Fi drops, auto-updates, and syncs the moment you're back online. Download the .exe →
